Qualifications for all drivers.

     What does it take to be one of the elite?  Besides the basic qualifications Baylor Intermodal drivers are professional, hard-working, and dedicated team players.  Do you have what it takes?  The following are the minimum requirements for Baylor Intermodal:

1) Class A-CDL with Hazmat endorsement. (Hazmat not required to submit application)

2) At least 6 mo. experience as a solo driver and experience must be within last three years.

3) No felony convictions. (Exceptions for consideration: bad check and child support)

4) No positive results from a drug or alcohol test. (No refusal to take a test)

5) Minimal traffic violations. (A DUI within the last 3 yrs will disqualify)

6) Minimal accidents. (Rear-end or fatality accidents may disqualify)

7) Must be at least 24 yrs old.


Local Drivers

    Baylor Intermodal Local Drivers are the most professional drivers in the Louisville area.  Our drivers are efficient, courteous, and enthusiastic;  This is why:

1) Variable shifts to suit the drivers' needs.  Days, nights, weekends; all shifts available.

2) 45-55 hr work week @ $13.25/hr.  **Bonus Program for all hours over 45**  Bonus compares in value to companies that pay time and a half!

3) Shift differential for nights and weekends.  $0.75/hr additional for qualifying shifts.

4) Individually assigned trucks.

5) No touch freight.  Never load or unload again!


Regional Drivers

     Baylor Intermodal Regional Drivers rule the road in safety. Our drivers are friendly, diligent, and respected.  Our regional drivers put in a hard weeks worth of driving but they go home happy because:

1) Only away from home 5 days per week guaranteed!  Drivers are never more than 400 miles from home.  We guarantee 48 hrs a week of home time.

2) $0.34 - .38 per mile.  **Bonus Program for miles over 2800 for the work week** Yearly bonuses can equal up to $2000 in additional pay!

3) Individually assigned trucks.

4) First in / first out dispatch.  New drivers are treated equally and fairly - no senoirity or pulling rank.

5) Detention paid for delays at customers for loading and unloading.

6) No touch freight.  You are a driver not a lumper.

The benefits are as follows;

1) Company uniforms that keep you looking sharp and professional.

2) Insurance after 60 days; available for single, single w/ children, and family plans.  After 5 yrs of service Baylor Intermodal will pick up a portion of family plan insurance expenses.

3) Vacation with pay; 1 week after 1 yr, 2 weeks after 2 yrs, and 3 weeks after 7yrs.

4) Retirement plan that the company will match for up to 5%. After 1 yr of service, this plan will compare to a 10% raise.

5) Bonus for recruiting new qualified drivers of up to $500 per recruited driver.

6) Up to 4 Bonus Pay rewards according to the Bonus Pay Program for hours worked or miles driven equaling up to $2000 of additional pay per year.
